It all started the day May 25, 2006, I was walking down the street,watching the construction site of the new house around the corner. I looked up at it, it was at least 14 feet high! All of a sudden a little man yelled down at me ” Watch your head, a big piece of sheet rock is going to..” And then it all happened I looked up and it was too late, it squashed me like a rotten banana. The man climbed down a large ladder and helped me up. At the time I had no clue I was flat.

I ran home as fast as I could. My mom was out in the front yard watering the flowers, once she saw me she screamed “Oh my gosh, your flat, what happened to you!”

After I told her the whole entire story, I took a shower and went to bed, I still couldn’t believe that I was flat! The next few weeks were hard. I had to do many thing easy things that turned out to be pretty hard. Like wearing clothes, it was hard because they were all too big. Another thing was that I couldn’t was dishes, because with the soap and being flat it was almost impossible! I had some hard times.

A couple months later after the “incident” my mom told me that we were going on a family vacation to Jamaica! She wanted to save air-fair, so she folded me into an envelope, and she gave me a bag of chips, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, fruit, and a lollipop! She put the stamp on me and shipped me off!

The next day I arrived in Jamaica! As the envelope went to the hotel I could feel a man trying to open the envelope, it was my dad! I got out and got a drink of water, and then my family and I went out to the water. A man came up to me and said,”Welcome to Jamaica! Where the grass is green, the sky is blue, and the waters aqua”. I jumped and splashed, and I played hide-and-go-seek with my sister, I won.  I had great day, then I went back to the hotel and went to bed.  The next few days were fun,  but then I had to go home. I got into my envelope and into the mail truck, then I went to sleep in the back of the truck. It had been a long day in Jamaica.

I was asleep the next morning on the kitchen table. My mom opened the envelope and I hopped out. I still had the stamp on my back. I didn’t feel so good so I went to sleep.

The next day at school many people made fun of me, and called me names like flat face, two sided, and paper. After school I went home crying and begged my mom to make me “unflatened.” So my mom grabbed a leaf blower, stuck it in my mouth and said ” 1, 2, 3!” And she turned on the leaf blower, and I blew up on the spot! I was normal again! Since I wasn’t flat anymore everything was back to normal! YES!!!

If you stretch you have a very low chance of pulling a muscle.  (a  very, very, low chance) If you are not doing anything to pull a muscle it still helps. Like what if your just walking to the bathroom, and bam! You pulled a muscle in you calf! That is only 1 thing that can happen.

Another thing is that its easy and fast.  You can do it before you go to work or school. Stretching can give you more energy throughout the day. What if you don’t go to work or school? You can even stretch for no reason. It’s good to stretch. You can even do it wile watching TV. Stretching can be fun and easy.

When you stretch you get more flexible. Because your body is working against your muscles. Your muscles get tight when you don’t stretch for a while. You can get more flexible if you stretch a lot. When you stretch right after a hot shower or bath, your muscles are loose from the heat, so you can get more flexible. If you don’t stretch you can’t get more flexible. Stretching can help you get more flexible.

There are many different types of stretches. Stretches for your arms, legs, back, chest, hands, feet, neck, head, shoulders, hips, thighs, and many more. If you do a certain type of stretch it will only stretch out that thing. But many types of stretching allow your body to do 2 or may be 3 stretches at a time. Meaning that you can stretch 2 or 3 things at a time. You can stretch many parts of your body.
